Priests Ford 3/4 category support race, Quainton. Buckinghamshire

Ian Clay Mike Heptonstall and Hugo Evans were on the line for 72km of rolling terrain near Aylesbury Vale, the course featured a 1.3km finishing climb at Pitchcott. This led to the race lined out on every ascent with Ian and Mike covering big training miles the day before, this climb was proving arduous. With everyone waiting for the final climb a negative race ensued, as the course favoured lighter riders.

'Rouleur' Mike did well to finish in the bunch, with Hugo out of position at the bottom of the hill he managed to get up to 7th place with the finish line coming to soon for our young rider.
