Team Economic Energy Road Race - Thursday 12th June 08

Tristan Emptage returned to road racing after a 10 year break at the TEE evening series at Dunton on June the 12th. Accompanied by Ian Coles he participated in the E/1/2/3/4 event that was run off a extremely fast pace right from the start. The North Road boys represented themselves well in the field and despite breaks trying to get away in the final few laps there was the inevitable bunch sprint. Both paticpants managed to avoid the high speed crash with Ian finshing 13th and Tristan 25th in the 3/4 category. The 1 hour plus 5 laps was run off at a shade under 26 mph.
