View from the Timekeeper' Chair: this was a good evening for the course as the wind was in the right direction from the east which made for some fast miles on the lower road. Dan Ryan found the distance more to his liking after a foray into the blue riband distance of time trialling - 100 miles - whilst Peter Nunn recorded a personal best since the 1990s. The visitors produced some fast times including the fastest of the evening. The good conditions resulted in full field which kept all the helpers fully occupied.

Riders should be aware that their safety is a paramount concern when competing on public roads so allowances should be made for other vulnerable road users such as equestrians and pedestrians - slow down, give a polite warning and plenty of room when passing.
