The patience of Jobe - and also of the timekeeper
The excitement is palpable in the greatest competition the cycling world has ever seen - the Ken Davis Silver Salver. Chris Wedge again held off the charging Jobe Usher to win in a time of 21:58 but by a margin of just 5 seconds... surely Jobe will catch him next week! James Moss was also in the mix coming third in 22:37.
Two guest riders independently missed the turn at Little Berkhamsted and went for a wander around the Cuffley Alps, leaving Graham and Nick a little concerned at the finish , but they returned in times well under the hour so persistence was rewarded all round.
