View from the Timekeeper's Chair

The event went ahead thanks to the efforts of the band of willing helpers - Gwyn, Nikki, Dale, Peter, Errol, Paul, Ian and a few others - in contrast to the previous week's event which wisely was cancelled due to a storm bringing heavy rain, floods, debris on the roads and poor light. This week's conditions were good, so much so that Nick produced his best time of the series and Ivana tightened her grip on the ladies' trophy. The entries from the guests have fallen away this season but it was good to see some new names among the NRCC ranks. Nikki puts on a good spread of cakes and biscuits so non competitors come along to meet your fellow club members and guests. You will be most welcome.
