Bovingdon Bomber Summer Crit #2

On a wet and windy summer evening at Bovingdon airfield Hugo Evans was on the start line with the rest of the hardcore crit racers from the area. On a super smooth tarmac circuit on loan from a motor racing company, the surface was very predictable despite the wet conditions.

With a 180 degree hairpin 100 metres from the finish line Hugo used this section to string out the bunch on nearly every lap. His race plan almost worked as only one rider popped of the front on the last lap with Hugo leading home the bunch for a second place finish.
