At least it did not rain but the wind from the west blew, not quite blowing the clouds away but the sun put in an appearance – this was June in England.     Two storming rides from David Vaughan and Tim Brown led the field but the hopes and expectations of the others were blown away.     It was fast going out to Wendy but it was a hard struggle from Wimpole Lodge to the crossroads at Wrestlingworth.      John Davy returned to the racing scene after an absence of some years and Jim Parsons came out from his home at Wrestlingworth – nice to see you but bring calm weather next time.     Seen around the course were Nick Harris,  Andy Lancaster, Ken Lovett, Chris Bullock, Alan Kennedy, Joe Kiely,Vanessa Brown and Graham Thompson with the watches and Annabel Thompson in charge of catering at Eyeworth Village Hall.

See everybody for the next Club 25 at Eyeworth on Saturday 1st September.
